The Applicant agrees that his/her participation
in the European Conducting Masterclass
is subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Unless prior arrangements have been made with the organisation attending all meetings, classes, rehearsals and performances of the course are expected, except those specifically denoted as optional.

2. You are obliged to fully participate in the individual lessons, attending all meetings, classes, rehearsals and the final concert.
Exceptions have to be clarified with Maestro and the organizer.

3.The following options for participation are offered:
active ( conducting the orchestra, individual lessons,  all meetings, classes, rehearsals and the final concert), semi-active (which involves individual lessons, attending all meetings, classes, rehearsals and the final concert) or passive (as listeners of all sessions, rehearsals and concert.

4. All participants are treated strictly according to the time they are entitled to in front of the orchestra or during rehearsals with the piano. maestro and the course organizer decide who can conduct the final concert and which part of a work.

5. Active participant’s fee covers:
– conducting the orchestra for a minimum of 90 minutes;
– 60 minute sessions with piano accompaniment;
– participation in all meetings, classes and rehearsals;
– conducting at the final concert, if Maestro accepts it
– video recording of all rehearsals with the orchestra and the final public concert.

6. Semi-active participant’s fee covers:
– 90 minute individual lessons with Maestro;
– attending all meetings, classes, rehearsals and the final concert, without an opportunity to conduct the orchestra.

7. Every conducting masterclass is allocated a special podium time for conductors as described in the overview of the masterclass.

8. Masterclass fees and payments:

Active participant’s fee is € 1950.

Active participant’s fee includes:
– conducting the Symphony Orchestra; (a minimum of 90 minutes)
– podium time in four-hands piano sessions; (60 minutes)
– individual lessons with Maestro Sieghart  ;
– participation in all classes and rehearsals;
– the final concert;
– recorded orchestra rehearsals and the final concert.

Semi-active participant’s fee is € 550
Daily Visitors’ (passive participation) fee is € 35

There is no registration/application fee.
Payment schedule
– 25 % of the participant’s fee has to be paid as a deposit via bank transfer two weeks at the latest after the organizer’s confirmation of your participation;
– The rest of the participant’s fee /75 %/ has to be paid via bank transfer by 7th August 2025
The fee is 100% refundable only in case of cancellation of the masterclass by the organizer.

The certificate of participation will be provided for all participants who have completed the masterclass for conductors.

Symphony No. 1, second movement
Symphony No. 3. third movement
Symphony No. 4, first, second and third movement
Violin concerto in d major
  • Each candidate must send a video of at least 5 minutes.

Conductors are expected to purchase and study their scores before the start of the masterclass for conductors. It is important that you listen to the pieces and prepare them as much as possible to gain the maximum benefits from the masterclass.

The Certificate of participation will be provided for all Participants who have completed the masterclass for conductors.
